I've never had a problem around here. Everyone is friendly to each other, waves, and sometimes we have friendly conversations. As said before the lowballers is what is killing the rest of us

I get the stink eye from 90% of other guys in my parts. I wave anyway. They act like any other lco is stealing from them or something. I just don't get it. The lco wave should be like the Jeep or motorcycle wave and if you've owned either then you know what I'm talking about.

I'm like alot of you.... I wave, or tip my head, when passing another lco. I too am surprised at how many give you the 'stink eye'. Relax people, its just another guy trying to make a living.

Wave no matter what.... make them wonder why you're so happy/friendly.

Right! As if it wasnt for you, he'd have 2x as many lawns. Over saturation is a big issue in our industry. Has it ALWAYs been this way?

Most people around here wave. One young kid that rolls around in a f250 stroker that loves to stomp on it and do the ricer fly by anytime i see him i just laugh and let him go. The thing that cracks me up is when workers for the big companies around here they love to flip the bird. I don't understand that you don't own the company your paid hourly what business do you have flipping me off? Oh well that company gives me a lot of business, always see them at gas stations yet to meet one that speaks english

Good topic Bassin, I try to wave to all, but sometimes I'm so pressed to make my schedule that I'm distracted attempting to hydrate, make calls, or snack on something. BTY, back in the 70's Ft Jennings bars were on our roadtrip list, great people and great fun. My "farmer" grandpa always said that if there was a garden of Eden, that it had to be in that part of Ohio. He always said "the worst crop here is the best crop the rest of the country will ever see".

I've noticed every industry sh!thead (blank truck, beat up, etc) that has a plow on their truck stares at me when I have my plow on during a snow storm, I guess my graphics stick out a little bit, that's a good thing!

when I use to push mow, there was this guy riding his Cub Cadet TANK, I wave my hand but the guy felt like he was the big ****. I was about to turn my hand and fold 4 fingers back!
