Need input on acquiring Commercial accounts

What is the best way to get Commercial accounts? any tips or effective methods would be useful....

The BEST way is to know the right person, or even someone who knows the person to contact. Join the local chamber of commerce, ask friends or relatives about the grounds where they work. Chances are they won't know much, but they may have the contact in charge Cold calling has resulted in 0landed accounts and wasted time. After a while in business they will contact you, good luck

This applies to almost anything in life. Who you know is always more important than what you know.

True to a point, knowing the right people will get you in the door but you still have to show up and do your job, we have gotten a few calls this year from commercial accounts where their guy would just not show up

Commercial accounts want reliability and FM's want someone who can do the job without being babysat.
