Caught mowing and the sprinkler system comes on?

Fun thread....

How many of you have been caught mowing a lawn and the sprinkler system comes on? What did you do?

Can think of one instance last season, was on one of my nicer customer's lawns. About 1/2 done mowing with the WB, and the sprinklers come on. At a different time than what the customer had originally told me. So thinking so myself, 'dang, I can't quit mowing this one, it is a bit out of the way and I don't want to come back'. Ended up keeping going, and following the sprinkler cycle around, stopping to let the sprinkler head clear, then going full stick to complete a pass before she came around again. Trimming was interesting too

Not around here. All watering must be done 12:00 am to 4:00 am or 4:00 am to 8:00 am depending on house number. I don't start residential until 8:00 so worst case they are just stopping but most are finished by 7:00 am.

I have my customers to have their sprinklers off the day I come, when I had my business in So. California they water their grass every morning, and that could be a hassle.

I have had it happen a couple of times. I did pretty much what you did usually in the summer heat down here I wish I would get caught more often.
