WTB RedMax Reciprocator (SGCZ2460S)

As title suggests, I am looking to purchase a RedMax SGCZ2460S Reciprocator. I prefer new or gently used.

Thanks,
Shaun

I have one and I am not looking to sell it. Just wondering what do you plan to do with it?

Hey Rodney! I am planning to use it mostly for trimming and edging. Unfortunately, I don't have any licensed retailers in my area and the one closest to me quoted me a price above MSRP to get one in.

It is a nice tool but not so great for trimming grass if that is what you meant. String line trimmer much better. Not sure what you mean by edging. Sidewalks? Beds? It works ok for either but then again there are other tools that work much better.

I ended up using it mainly on my own property maintaining bed and sidewalk edges. It would cut sod well. Cutting back flowers works well. Overall it comes in handy but not a daily use tool at least for me. At what they get for them it may be hard to justify cost IMHO. There should be someone who sells them online.

Thanks Rodney! I agree that the price is pretty steep but most of the reviews I have read give this thing pretty high marks. I am also a fan of RedMax products as a whole. I have no aversions to buying one at an online retailer but can't seem to find one. Do you know of any?

After I wrote that I went and looked. Saw somewhere RedMax stopped allowing online sales thru dealers.
