new dump trailer issue

I just bought a Maxum dump trailer 14 foot 14000 pound rating. Today I went to load my 8000 # skid steer and the trailer shot up like it was dumping it was connected to the truck. I finally got the skid steer in after I almost rolled over. Does anyone else have this issue or is my brand new trailer broke??

No they do that you can either take a chain binder and hold the front to the frame or a heavy ratchet strap

I was told that u need power up and power down for it to not do that. It kind of locks the cylinder ,where a power up gravity down the weight sucks the fluid out.

No it fine all it dose is suck the fluid back into the piston. Before I bought my equipment trailer I was using my dump it never came up to high, but it did make for weird sensation the first couple of times then you get use to it
