Covered up with a tarp on my trailer. And I run everything once a week until spring. I have never used any chemical's in the gas. And have never had any problems. And no I don't turn the gas off and let it run until it dies.

The garage, the shed, etc. The trailer stays outside. All equipment maintenance is done, engines are fogged, tanks filled with ethanol free fuel (for me, that's 100LL avgas) and cleaned/waxed.

I keep all my equipment in my 2 car garage, which i'm out growing. My trailer and plow (during the summer)during the winter sits on the side of the garage.

Last leaf cleanup we done was my house. When we got done we drove across town and stuffed the mowers in my parents garage haha. Used to keep everything at home but now my garage is full of snow equipment since I added a truck and plow this year. I figure I will go pick the mowers up about half way thru March lol.
