Exclamation Velocity Plus Baffles + Mud

Anyone remove the baffles from the Scag Velocity plus decks?
What kind of results have you gotten from it?

I live in Louisiana and crawfish holes are a huge problem, for those of you who don't know what a crawfish hole is, its basicly a chimney made of mud on the grass. The problem is, when you run over them, the mud gets stuck on the baffle system and causes the mower to bog down when cutting even the best kept lawns. I figured removing the baffle would help with the clogging, but would i lose my quality of cut??
