Spindle play

Wondering how much if any spindle play is considered normal. My diesel z and super z both seem to have around 1/8 inch of play or so when I attempt to rock blade from one side to the other. Some spindles have slightly more. Both machines have about 850 hrs. Thinking it may be time for new spindle bearings and idler pulleys. Have had some issues with my diesel z throwing and destroying the belt when engagnig blades. Cant find any issues in the rear of machine to cause this both idlers there are in good condition so am considering all options. These $80 - $85 belts are getting expensive. Appreciate any input.

Not liking the play on the spindles. if they wiggle you should get the fixed. Then we can move forward.
