I certainly agree these engines should be operated always at WOT but thought I would not cut my thickest grass the shortest first time around. That was all I was suggesting - just don't overload anything first time. Next mow I'll go a little shorter but this time of year will probably keep the cut at least 4". With 36 hp doubt it will matter much. Thanks for input.

We changed the oil at just over 5 hrs. Other than that it's been running non stop. Things are growing really fast here. I don't see the need to baby it, nor do we have time.

We put solid tires on the front and have a light kit but haven't had time to put it on.

15 hrs on it now and it's doing great.

I'm sure glad we made the switch from Dixie Chopper a couple years ago.
