Second mowing of this 2013 season. First mow ran from lower right to upper left. Cut height at 3.25" and I have done the fertilizing treatments on this property for the last 1.5 yrs. I used a Toro Grandstand 60" with the toro brand striper. These stripes were done with a single pass. I hope to compare to the other fantastic photos submitted by the lawnsite members!
looking good man.

the others people have talked about are good but it's almost like they look too good. it gives the yard a "fake" or unnatural look to me. almost looks like astro-truf. what do i know. i'm from the south and we don't stripe down here where i live.

Hey thanks. I think the pictures of super dark green lawns are always the ones that get the most votes and none our lawns here are that super dark green. Here is one of mine after I added some contrast and darkened it up a little.

One nice thing is, I can see you change directions. There's a target in the twin city metro area gets mowed the same way for years now. I are it from 35. I stopped by last summer. The ruts must be 5"-6" deep. Look like they set the on transport or close to it. Grass was only a inch or two high. Way too short for up here. But there's no other way to mow it now.

Here's a few old ones. Haven't had the time to take much of any pics. I have a bunch of lawns that look killer bold when done. I'll have to try and get more up to date pics.

Yeah, you did something there. That grass is brighter than annual rye.

And back by popular demand....

Bear in mind, this pic is of a Southern lawn. The ones they say can't be striped. I'd post a new one for this year but the weather just wasn't the same.

The truth is some of you guys have incredible lawns. I really like them!
