I have the Pro 30 which costs about as much as a 12 pack of micro brew. It's manual and more useful than an automatic.

The pro 30 is by far the handiest multimeter on the market and it fits in your shirt pocket.

My suggestion is to learn to use a manual meter properly.

Jim,

I have and use the Greenlee DM-20 but I do not have an amp meter. That is why I was looking at the Pro-90. What amp meter do you use / recommend?

Thanks,

Mex

MEX, i might also add that i have the 93LCM along with flukes and Greenlee meters.

The plus with automatics is that the careless or untrained don't blow up automatics. The minus is that they can't take the measurements that separate "true troubleshooters" from the "think they are troubleshooters."

i mainly use the 30 and the 93. the 90 would prolly be a good fit for you.

To be honest with you i can't say enough good things about the pro 30. It is amazing what you can do with that meter.
