FS 110 Sthil Died

Today one my FS110 just died. This is its 5th year running
I check it out and has no compression no fire
Check the rockers They check ok piston moving, push rods moving.
Called in to the dealer they told me drop it off,so I drop it off.
I walk out with a new 130. Dang that thing is a ass kicker trimmer

They going look at it see if its fixable
They said they had few jump time or could be the compression ring.

Even with ring broke it should still fire Right?

One test I did in the field I pulled plug and rocker cover off and put finger over plug hole. I pull the cord blows air out around the rockers a lot of air.
So I thought it jump time
These 4 mix are new to me out of 6 4-mix this first time one breaks. I didn't have time to mess with it.
I cant say anything bad about them lasted for 5 yrs I never had a 2 stroke last past 3 years that gets used everyday

It might be but the power means I can walk faster I don't have to wait on it.
I'll find out tomorrow We doing a big complex I know how far I can go on a tank I'll see if I make the distance.

I just bought two fa 250 r's today. I run 130 s also. I think I'll live the power more in the new ones. The more power the faster you go

Is this the same dealer who told you shaving in the hydro tank is normal?
If so, tell them hammerheads to try and decarbonize it first before they start monkeying
with it. If they say it "jumped time" please ask the how it did that little feat. It's a gear driven design
The air you feel is normal. It's the passage for the charge to get to the crankcase for lubrication.

The air I was feeling is 10 x more then normal I check one my others out and it has hardly any coming from the crankcase unlike this one.

Once they start having problems I'll buy new, I don't like down time.
If it fixable cheaply I'll get it fix and sale it. If not I'll keep it for parts.

The 130 doesn't burn anymore then the 110 on gas but WoW it was fun running it today Trim like my old Husq 332 trimmer feels like same power
Think my other guys wants one after they ran this one. Might be the time sale or trade these 110s off.
