Lawn Genie

I thought the Lawn Genie brand was gone, but apparently not!!! Found this gem today at the local ACE Hardware. Not sure of the price, as that is not what is listed on the tag below it.
Boots, how old is this thing?

Wow! That thing is very old. I think Garden America was bought by Black & Decker, before the Richdel line was bought by Hardie.

You can find a lot of that kind of new old stock on e-bay. I've bought a couple of cool things that are brand new even though they are 30 years old.

How many decades have you been in the sprinkler biz Shoes?

You have a data base that goes back to thy Mayans, or so it seems.

You are the one person that i could ask about "hydraulic burping" phenom. and you would give me a semi straight (Boots) answer..

Richdel didn't make a gigantic effort to separate the Lawn Genie name from their product sold through distributors, so the name might be seen here and there on controllers or antisyphon valves.

Jim, I think Boots was doing this when they had wooden irrigation pipe. They made their own pipe.
