Hustler Trimstar vs. Snapper Pro 36 walk behinds

Am trying to decide between these two in the next couple weeks. I'll be using it as a primary mower to mow smaller 1/4 acre-ish resi's all day every day (except for Sunday in honor of our Lord, of course).

Let me know the pro's and con's of each if you've used them. Appreciate your input.

You buying used or new? Can't speak to the trim star bc I've never used one but I do have a snapper pro 36" hydro. Mine isn't the new model though, it's a 2007 model IIRC. They revamped the design in the late 2000's. all my properties are all postage stamp sized lots (1/10th - 1/4 acre) so it works well on them. I just bought the hydro model this year and I love it so much more than the belt drive snapper pro 36 I had before. So much smoother to operate and less fatigue.

I was planning on buying a brand new one this year but I ended up coming across a very lightly used one with about 200 hours on it that was used by a homeowner. The paint is still almost perfect. Got it for $1400 so I couldn't pass that up.

Hustler Trim Star vs Snapper Pro 36 inch

I too looked at both 36 inch models last year but the Trimstar costs too much.
So I looked last and this year at Exmark and Toro 36 walkbehinds. I decided to purchase the Toro with T-bar, gear drive. Toro gave $300 off list price and Exmark did not. It was a tough decision. I am waiting for delivery. Take your time and research the internet before you make that decision. Good luck

Does Hustler still use different length blades on their 2-bladed Trimstar 36?
Their website didn't make it easy to verify this, but I recall the the trim-side blade was longer, while the discharge-side blade was shorter. I can envision some advantages in this...as well as disadvantages.
Very unique and intriguing if this is how they still configure their 36.
Anyone??
