Newer Lazer Z's ROPS removal...Fuel vent lines?

ROPS will need to be removed on my new mower. Just gets in the way entirely too much for an item I've NEVER had on a mower prior to this.

On the newer Lazer Z's there are fuel vent lines that go up into the discharge side base of the ROPS.

If I absolutely have to, I'll just leave this part of the ROPS there. But I was wondering if there is another way to do this?

For what it's worth, this is going to be a EFI Big Block Kohler RED equipped machine. Not sure if these vent lines are the same for EFI and carbed models.

Are these vent lines flexible?

I was thinking of getting some square tubing bent inward more and out of the way. I would like to not molest the original ROPS as I would want to sell it when I eventually sell the machine in 6 years or so.

Of all the brands I demoed, the Lazer has the least obtrusive ROPS, but it still bothers me being back there grabbing tree branches, etc.
