if its only for a day or two, i would do it, but not good for more then a few days. I would be looking at another truck right now...whether it be new or used. i had one of my buddies use his truck for a day and i just filled his truck up. same when i had him use his mower along with mine, a few times a i just filled it up with gas, then another time i gave him an extra 5 dollars per hour.

I agree. most situations like this end badly. If he's a really good friend, I wouldn't want to risk losing his friendship over this. I think you'd be smart to just buy a truck and go from there as some have said.

Thanks for all the post that is what i needed to hear. I just need to go ahead and make the move and get another truck. I only needed it for a week but I would never want to hurt our friendship. This guy was my first hire. He loves his job. He fill like this is his company. there are not a lot of people out there that is that loyal with there job.
