My Deere dealer knows if I'm serious about something and let's me keep it as long as I need.

Plus doesn't Deere have a work it for a week program?

Last I knew, the "work it for a week" program applied after you actually buy one. It is their no hassle return gaurantee.

I see that it has the suspension seat, but no flex forks. let me know how the seat rides. I checked into buying one of the new seats for my 2012 850, but they said no go. Different mounting platform and hardware. Typical Deere BS

The flex forks won't be available until late in the year as an add on option for those of us who want to add them to our machines. Come on JD, get it together. I'd really like to get a set of them for mine before the season gets too far along. I guess they don't follow these threads like Gravely ( and I see now Exmark).

My dealer does the same for me. If I want to demo at zero turn all the way up to a cotton picker. They don't question it and bring it to me.

Sucks to live over there then. I won't buy a vehicle either if I can't drive it on my own and where I want.

I would have bought a new machine by now if they gave a demo. Ive been trying for a couple months to get a demo of ferris, scag & gravely.

I think one big problem is due to people over here just not wanting to demo, they'r happy to buy with the assumption that it will be good

Apart from that the manus dont make a demo available. Accept for the council, they get a demo for a week no problem, only because they will buy 12 units in one go. But anyway they care less about how a machine performs than I do, they just give it to the apprentice to mow all day with anyway.
