Im glad your liking the the machine. I doubt the deck would work over here but the rest of it looks awesome!
We dont have Exmark here unfortunately but have the Toro. I'd assume Toro will get this RED tech at some stage.
Exmark have left everyone behind with this Tech, it was way over due. Maybe others will follow now, and so they should!

Correct me if Im wrong but the tractor is the same as the Toro G3? If so, the machine will be great on hills. Ive said it before that a friend has a G3 and the places he takes it is insane, places I wouldnt dream of taking any machine.
Also, the strength of the Toro is way more than adequate! He's had virtually no problems with something like 2000hrs on it. He has had to replace a hydro but may of been a broken axle but again with the stuff he does at times, its held up very well!
The shorter wheelbase and the hard casters give a rougher ride than the XR7 SZ. They should come up with some kind of flex fork.
The shorter wheelbase will make it touchy to drive but you will get used to it and Im sure things will loosen up. Going back to my old SZ from the new for a day was an experience. Touchy as hell when I never noticed it while I was on it all the time.
The 28efi for me really wasnt enough to run the SZ hydros and deck. Its ok when grass is dry, slow growing and no slopes. Thats where the Exmark will shine. More than enough engine to run everything! Put it against the new SZ with the 35 for a real apples to apples comparison. No comparison on fuel usage thats for sure!

Anyway, would love to see some more pics!!!!!

I'll have to work on new pictures...

Wheelbase is about the same as my SuperZ. I have 2x4's across the trailer to "lock" in the rear tires, while the front goes into a Pro-Locker (eXmark fork fits this Pro-Locker perfect unlike the SuperZ). All the wood lines up, so if it's shorter, it's only an inch at most.

My bad!
I thought for sure the SZ was a couple inches longer!

TLC (and puppy) thanks for the feed back. Would be nice to see how the SZ HD would stack up against the X. Probably better ride yet but the rest may still be close to the same as the XR7.

Well tomorrow they're calling for 90% chance of rain. I'm getting up and pulling out around 5 a.m. for a nine hour round trip to run a 60" Cheetah and a 54" Exmark which is the only demo available. They claim it's a 6 series deck though so hopefully I can get a rough idea of QOC. 50-70% rain rest of the week here. Possibly a 60" SZ HD with the FX1000 coming to me toward the end of the week to try. Wish the weather would cooperate better and I could actually try a 60" 6 series deck but I take what I can get.

QOC = Very Good, somewhat better than the XR-7 but it is a new
mower, with new blades and slick paint, under a new UltraCut
deck.

Clipping Dispersal = Far superior to the XR-7 due to deck design
and excessive power in comparison to the 28 efi.

Ride Quality = Fair, would be better with pneumatic front tires, but
as good as the Hustler in the ride category.

Handling = Hydraulics will not operate as smootly as a Hustler.

Speed = No comparison, much slower, but due to extreme power
not as noticeable. If compared in dry grass cut on a
normal schedule, the Super Z is much more productive
due to its much faster speed.

Layout = Good, but no better than the Super Z.

Ease of Maintenance = Both pretty equal.

Build = The Exmark is more than adequate, but not built with the
added strength of the Super Z.

Finish = Excellent top quality finish on the Exmark, but the finish on
a new Hustler would be comparable.

I will personally add this, I believe the new Exmark to be the most technology advanced ztr manufactured in today's market, but with that said, there is no ztr comparable with a Hustler Super Z for strength in build, or for smoothness and ease of operation.

TLS correct me where I missed the mark, I am interested in your thoughts.
Brother, I just gotta say you are one of a kind! Between the five of us (me, Puppy, TLC, Mic, and Ridin) we should charge for our professional tear down and scrutiny of each and every mower out there. Manufactures beware or pay attention! We'll find your good points, and better yet, not so good points!

OH my gosh, ROTFLMAO

Don't forget-

has a recliner, built in refrigerator, and comes stocked with plenty of cold beverages of your choice, and auto pilot just in case you prefer the anti freeze type drink.

Oh yeah, one other thing- The lazer cuts the grass blades at the predetermined HOC and there's no bagger needed. The clippings are blown directly into the fuel cells.

I forgot the 36" (so it can fit through gates) LED computer screen so we can be on LS while were working!

On a more serious note sadly, I was asked about my SZ with it's for sale sign on it by a fencing contractor today. They're looking for a mower for they're two acre church. In the discussion we got on gph and I gave him figures from the FX921 of 2 gph. He points to his skid steer he was trailering behind his F450 and laughs and says that's what he gets with it and what he tries to bill into his machine hrs!!! Seems to me a skid steer should not be compared to a new 31 hp mower engine when it comes to gph, but maybe that's just me. Maybe his skid steer just needs RED technology only that may make it use less gph than a lawn mower?!
