Generac 33hp has oil leak at less than 10 hours

Engine runs great. Have had no issues with engine, except I have noticed a small amount of oil leaking from the rear of the engine near the throttle linkage. Engine has less than 10 hours. Anyone seen this problem from the Generac 33hp?

I have the 32 hp Generac on my mower but they are the same engine. Mine is a Horizontal shaft engine, though. I have about 370 hrs on mine and it hasn't developed any oil leaks anywhere. I haven't had any trouble with it. Starts easy, runs great.

I would carry it back to the dealer though since it's under warranty. I've talked to a few dealers in my area, bobcat and dixie Chopper, and they actually prefer the Generac engines. I'm not saying that all of them in my state do but these three do.

DIXIE CHOPPER has been using the Generacs since 2004, both 27 and 30-33 much less problems then Kohler engines.
I have two of the 33s light leak about 3" behind oil filter, I'll let you know what I find

I have 8 machines with Generac engines, awesome power and fairly easy to work on. All of mine have between 1000 and 2500 hours with minimal problems, mostly due to being ran hard. A couple extra hose clamps and your "oil leaks" should cease.
