Carb/Engine help

I have a Ransomes Bobcat XM3203 with a Kawasaki FB460V. The carb is getting filled with gas and oil after running for a few seconds and then shuts itself off. That tells me the needle valve is sticking. I took it all apart, cleaned it and put it back. Still does it. The engine oil is getting gas mixed in it that I now have to drain and re-fill. The engine code is FB460V - GS07. I tried to find a replacement carb - 15001-2935 or 15003-2183. Both are discontinued. My question - what engine can I buy to fit the XM3203 if I can't get this carb rebuilt or replaced? I'm going to attempt replacing the needle valve. I'm hoping it will work but I doubt it.

my guess too, seized float. the ethanol is notorious for locking floats up after sitting for a while

Goto Home Depot and get a bottle of Mechanic in a Bottle. They guarantee results and if your float is sticking this stuff will probably fix it without you touching the carb. Ethanol is causing a lot of carb issues.

There is a carb for this engine. Do a search with using my name and you will find my post on it. Discontinued carbs have been replaced with new part numbers.

Mercrewser, I am looking for a replacement also, but a search with you name didn't show anything. Could you post a link?
