Sod Pricing

I am in north Jersey and need to give a price on sod installation which I have not done in years. What should I be charging for sod installation per square feet?

Depends on your costs I would think. I pay a hundred a pallet for 400 square and charge 400 installed. Charge 30 cent a square for sod cut and removal. Your price should depend on what you pay and how fast you can lay a pallet. Takes two guys 45 min a pallet for me

upkeep, I am in georgia and gave a quote on some bermuda sod. at $149 for 504sqft a pallet he wants the ground of course tilled and graded before. Well I told him he needed it wether he liked it in the quote or not. tiller rental is $59. Fert around $40 for the bag here... I quoted the guy at $520 I think thats probably around the right price but just wanted some input here. I have worked on a golf course for years landscaping and have been doing lawn maintenance since high school but this would be my companies first sod installation. You think the price is fair? He has about a 400sqfoot area he needs covered.
