sorry about the length of the video. was misting and touchscreen wouldnt work to turn it off recording. but.....

can this do any harm? how would you fix it? what do i say to the customer to tell convince them to pay me to fix it?

or is this a new product? waterbed lawns by allen, tired of that stuffy stuffed mattress, sleep on a nice cushy waterbed lawn. only $20 per square foot.

Beats me, I have no idea if they even have irrigation.

I can guarantee there is a bad leak under there.

Could be a spring. We have had a lot of rain in Michigan.
Perhaps something uphill is draining to that spot--with 4 inch corrugated tubing. And they didn't provide an outlet--or it got plugged with something. Take a careful look at his sump pump. And like you said--find out where his eves troughs drain.
Take a look at neighbor's properties and see if they are draining their water onto his lawn.

there is a drain right out that corner. that must be where the pipe goes. we got 6 inches of rain that month. must have just been too much water right there. its not by the foundation and hasn't happoned since so I did not offer fixing it to the owner
