I work every Memorial Day, the 4th and Labor Day. I get about 50 to 70 Days off right after I get Xmas Lights down in January. Unless it snows.

well forget what i said earlier. i wasn't gonna work all weekend but now it seems i have to work friday, saturday, and monday as well.

i hate holiday weekends.

every man in my family has been in the military at some point. one grandfather a marine in ww2 and the other in the navy in ww2. my dad was in the army in vietnam. my brother was in the air force but this was before we went to war in the middle east. he's out of it now and works a civilian job for the gov as an engineer.

i always thought it was weird that jobs get off on memorial day but they have to work on veteran's day. never understood that one. i say give them respect and remember and thank them every day not just a few holidays out of the year.
