Growth Products

Does anyone use the products from this company - Growth Products, in New York?

In particular, I was wondering about their Essentials Plus product and their Xtra Iron (10% Iron/low nitrogen) - have you seen a difference in your lawns with their products as opposed to other less expensive ones?

It smells like it ought to make something grow - my wife said I made the lawn smell like fish. Personally, I liked the aroma. I sprayed the Essentials Plus mixed with Companian, Xtra Iron and some K three weeks ago; and again this morning. The iron is definately working; we'll see if the lawn thickens up as that's my overall goal this summer.

I've got large Live Oaks and thinned out St. Augustine under them - I spread a 100 pounds of vermicompost on the bare areas and top dressed the rest with a thin layer of horse manure compost from the nursery; then sprayed this stuff.

BWI carries it, but it's just as expensive there as it is in the small retail bottles that Growth Products sells as Simple Success on their website - it just comes in larger 2.5 gallon containers at BWI. You'd think it would be a little cheaper since they're saving some on packaging, but at least theire's no freight charge from BWI.

This is some high dollar stuff; I hope it's not all hype.
