Grub prevention.

I have a few lawns that we have battled grubs toward te end of last year. I have planned on a treatment of imicloprid now based on the life cycle and catching them early.

I've been reading up on some of the newer products like aloft. They seem to be a dual action product.

Anyone tried the newer products? You sticking with merit?

Since you're asking about grub prevention please take a look at this;

I will add that there are new natural products that are very effective (including cost effective) as preventative and curative treatments for all species of white grubs.

I have used Acelepryn. Worked well but very costly and needs to be put down Mid April early may to be most effective.

Mach 2 is junk.

Aloft is good, but I think Merit+Bifenthrin is cheaper.

Merit works well and is very cost effective if used as a liquid. but must be watered in rather quickly.
Granular merit is good, little more margin for error in the watering in process but I still like to see 24-48 hours. Plus you can get it with fert.
Just my 2 cents.
