whats your story? did you have a lot of critics while growing?

I think any successful person has a story. all of them had people telling them to stop. you dont need to do that. no dont get another truck. what if his happens, what about if that happens? blah blah blah. whats your story when did you start out how fast did you grow and did the negative losers slow you down?

Started full time last year when i was 22 and a lot of people smelled the beginner on me and tried to take advantage promising more work and tons of referrals if i would only do this job cheaper. Got tricked a few times but quickly learned that it wasnt worth it and luckily didn't write checks based on all the money promised to me

I'm still told every day I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm doing.

"You're not successful if you don't work 7 days a week 100 hours a week" - yeah right

sadly my biggest enemy toward me doing anything is my dad. its always gotta be safe. ohhhhh son dont do that. what happens if this happens. ect..... safe safe safe. its depressing. i will never do that to my son. parents have a big impact on your life and it sucks i have no support and has never had any support. It pisses me off but drives me at the same time.

Sometimes, your ennemies turn out to be your greatest 'friends' as the opposition they put on you forced you to try harder and succeed.

Moreover, nothing is truly learned thru what is easy.

My gma told me 3 years ago to stop playing businessman and get a real job. I wasn't asking her for anything it just came out of nowhere. That one really hurt me but the rest is just jealous people being stupid. Rise above it and go about your business. Take pride, be proud.

local economy... southern WV and SW VA have basically been a depressed area since the coal boom went bust back in the 70's (before my time). It's hard to do this full time around here and it seems like the guys who had been doing it full time, were doing it since they were born. Well, I found out if you're willing to work and travel the extra mile the jobs are out there, the clients are out there, making a living is out there.

It seems like most guys on here work out of their town/city/local area. We have clients over 55 miles away in one direction and 40 miles away in another. We are right on the WV/VA border, so we work in 2 states and 7 counties in order to do what we do... That's been our biggest hurdle.
