Small Fall Blooming Perrenials for Shade

Customer has a request to get some color other than green in the fall / summer. She wants perrenials or small shrubs that bloom in the summer/ fall that do well in the shade. if they don't bloom then, atleast have some color.
I am thinking nandina firepower, huechera, dwarf camellia.
Any other ideas? its in Maryland zone 7.
doesn't want annuals.
THANKS!

I would think that Z7 would have lots of options,,, but again I'd run around to nurseries and chat about a lot of things to gain the necessary knowledge to advise the client intelligently...
