mower waxing

Do you wax your mower? Oh, and do you wax the decals on yours too? I have some leftover carnuba from car waxing, and am wondering if that would work?

They aren't ran in salt and where you don't wreck into stuff the paint shouldn't be harmed any. I suppose it could help with sun damage.

I take care of a detail shop owners property. With that said he details all my mowers trucks and everything for me twice a year. To top that he never gets out a water hose. Check out his products at Sparkles Detail.com

If you dont care about appearance of your equipment, then no dont wax them. If you care about a professional image that only a clean rig will give, yes wax the mower.

I dont own a lawn company, but I do own a mobile detail business. I wax my personal mower and family machines regularly.

I blow off mine with the backpack blower every day, including the fins and the fan. pressure wash it where its safe to do so whenever I think it needs to. which isn't often, as I don't like using water on my stuff. I think it would last longer without washing it often. I keep everything clean enough to detect leaks of any sort, though.

I don't wax mine, and mine looks just fine.
