taking credit cards. i have quick books. best way?

Because I cant carry around a card reader with me due to most of my customers are not home I was curious is quick books what yall use if you have quick books? seems lots of fees. I don't mind paying them but they seem to add up. Is this the best way or is there a better way with less fees?

I use square. Then enter it into quickbooks when I get home.

There's a video on youtube on how to enter it into quickbooks to deduct the fees properly but still give you customer full credit for the invoice.

I was told the SQUARE was not encrypted so if some one gets a hold of your phone and gets that info you are liable.

I highly doubt that Visa and MasterCard would allow square to process payments if it wasn't encrypted. All processors are required to meet minimum PCI standards for encryption in order to be able to process payments. I used to work for a large credit card company in their fraud analytics group. I still work in that industry for my "day job" (do lawn care part time), just not in credit cards anymore. I have a lot of knowledge in information security and fraud detection and prevention. If I weren't comfortable with it, I wouldn't use it.

Look up Stripe. I use that through Jobber but can be integrated with your website or standalone
