Professional Guage Aluminum Edging

Looking for suggestions on brands of aluminum edging for mulched beds up against KBG lawn.

I've found Sure-Loc and Permaloc.

3/16" thick, 5.5" depth with 12" spikes.

Any comments between the two? How about other brands?

Thanks

Be green,
I can't remember exactly how either interlocks with the spike system, but look at how they join together and how you will be maintaining the borders as you line trim.
Some of these border pieces is designed specifically for paver borders and the others for beds, etc. I had a opportunity to purchase 25 cases of these pieces but it was for pavers and the anchors go on the outside. Not adequate for line trimming.
As for the depth you need to install them, 5.5 inches tall is okay........not too much out there that is taller than going to a metal shop and purchasing 6 inch tall--1/8 thick iron border. The cost per foot is way different. The iron is sold by the pound.
The customer makes the final decision as they will be looking at this shiney metal for the duration of its installation. The life of this material is vast compared to the col-met powder coated materials.
