Hi,

I have had a set on order for over a month now. Anybody have these in stock for a 48" Hustler Fastrak 596-308. Thanks.

Hello Chris,
We would have these blades on back order as well. Seems that everyone might be for a little bit. You should see how much of a better price we can get these, or any blades, for you.

Thanks,
Blake

Thank you for the response Blake. I have recently purchased this machine and have about 15 hours on it so I wanted to sharpen the blades. I thought it would be nice to have a second set to just swap on so I wanted to try the G5 blades. I have read quite a bit of good things about them.

I am currently using the standard blades that came with the machine and they seem fine. Actually this mower does a nice job distributing clippings compared to my JD X320 that I was using.

Arwe you only interested in the G5, or will the G6 do? Is it an issue over whether or not you have ebough power to turn the G6's? Your 22 HP engine/48" deck should handle the G6 with ease.

Stonewall Trading has the G6's-

Mowpart.com has them listed. They said 4-9 business days and then a couple to get them to you from their warehouse-

Ridin' Green, my main concern was the extra mass of the G6 as you mention. I was originally told they would ship 6/17 and now it has been pushed to 7/12. I will wait to see if they ship 7/12 and if they don't then probably just go with the G6.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, if you have to switch to the G6 or just decide to give them a try, then use Landscaper Pro. Blake's here and willing to help you out, which sounds like more than the place you have your order with now.

I appreciate the other options for purchasing blades because I will probably need them. I installed the G5s and after the first mow I can't wait to remove them. They clumped so bad that the clippings dispersion is as bad as my old lawn tractor. This was with dry conditions and reasonably lush lawn. I feel the standard blades distributed clippingsuch better.

I will sharpen the original blades and consider another back up set.

What, I give you $50 and maybe I'll see my parts?

Maybe I'm in the wrong business again, I ought to get in that line there of selling things I don't have, too.
Hell yeah, sell you all sorts of stuff I don't have, and after a month there's nothing you can do.

Tell you right now, I don't play that backorder game nice at all.
Could have at least mentioned it before I paid!

After 30 days the credit card company won't let me reverse the charge so they don't even have to give us our money back.
No sir, after two weeks the vendor can just cancel my order and give me a refund.

Next time in order to save us the hassle, how about if a vendor doesn't have the parts physically in stock they don't allow their customers to buy it?
It ought to be a law, you can't sell what you don't have.
