Exmark Lazer Z Hydro Filter

Went to purchase filters to change the hydraulic oil on our new Lazer Zs. Dealer wanted around $100 for the filter(s) necessary for one machine - for all three machines right at $300.

I thought this a little extreme for these - where is everyone else buying these filters at? These machines are 2013 Lazer Z X Series 72'' 38 Kohlers.

Thanks

It looks like the filter you need is a WIX # 51553 which can be found at www.fleetfilter.com for less than $7.00 each. Just type in the OEM part number and get the filter.

If it's the new X series than they use a different steel mesh filter inteasd of the older spin-on oil filter type. It's hard to find them for cheap. the dealer her wants 46+tax for each one (requires 2) so right at your $100 mark as well.
I buy them for $30ea shipped online.
