Question Is Lesco still around?

I started my lawn care company in Calumet City Illinois over 10 years ago and all I ever used were Lesco products. I have since moved the company to Los Angeles, California and I am in need of a much better product like my old Lesco brand. I called the only number I had for them at their Mokena Illinois location but the line is disconnected, so is every other number I have found for them. Can anyone out there shed some light on this for me? Did they close? Are they under a different name?

Thanks,

Tony

Re-branded as "John Deere Landscapes". They still sell "Lesco" products.

I heard they might start making Lesco mowers again. at least that is what the guy at my JDL/Lesco said. But, he said they still make all of the sprayers renovators, aerators, spreaders, and all of that stuff. and, they still make all of their seed and fert, yes. and. Just go in and ask.

Kawasaki Guy thank you. It's been so long since I've used their product. The few clients I have left will be very happy. I'll have to order everything online as I see there is nothing out here in California.

Thanks again.

The were bought out by john deere landscapes back in 08-09 around then. All the equipment is made by other companies, they just put a green hopper on the lesco models.

FYI all the riders branded Lesco are actually rebranded Cub Cadets that are actually made by the same company that makes Murray and all the other cheaper mowers available for entry level or homeowners. I had a Lesco ZTR mower a long time ago. I sold it before I even had 100 Hrs on it. Too many issues with cutting quality. Just my 2 cents

My old lescos were tanks. I loved the spindles on my 52" hydro walk behind. If I remeber It was a large bolt that went straight through the spindle. I never busted a spindle, stripped a shaft, or randomly broke belts no matter what I hit. the thing just mowed for days. 1200 hours and not one darn problem.

Last October a company called CD&R bought a 60% share of the company from John Deere, and it is now a separate company again. CD&R is a leveraged buyout company. They will probably take it public or resell it soon after they squeeze a little cash out of it.
