Lazer Z Sticker Shock.....really?

Ok, I got quoted a price for a new Lazer Z S series, 48 inch with the Ultra vac 2 bag collection system. Total price out the door is $12094. I haven't called around to price compare yet, but is that in the ballpark? I have to admit that im having sticker shock after hearing that.

Most Exmark dealers around here don't do a lot of discounting. Every Exmark I have priced in the past few years has been MSRP. That 12k price tag is exactly what I paid for a brand new Ford Ranger 5 years ago. Between the price, the fact that I don't really deal with our local Exmark dealers, and still having a sour taste from Exmark ten years ago is why I haven't purchased another Exmark in the past 10 years.

BTW, whats with the Equinesavings discount? Says something like "up to 26% off." Are they discounting that much on mowers for people involved with horses?
