F450 Do you think its priced right?

Hello,
I need your opinon, I am going to look at a 2002 f450 4x2 with around 55k miles, truck has a 12' fully steel stake body dump with cab protector. Do you think 16k is too much to pay? Assuming it is in great shape no rust, good interior, etc. I have been looking for a while and it is hard to find them not beat to hell with a full steel bed and low miles. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated as I am going shortly to take a look. Hes not budging on the price. and this is my first dump btw and have been itching bad to get one.
Thanks again.

If its diesel I would say its a fair price. What do you need to haul ? Stake bodies are not always so good for dirt and stone hauling however there better for debris and mulch as long as plywood is in place.

KBB.com say that the fair price would be about 12k-13k

Yeah its a late model 7.3. Sorry not stake but fully steel dump. I didnt think you could look at the kbb on f450s or higher unless you pay for it since its commercial.

Sorry, realize it was dump. I was accidentally looking at the 350s. 16k probably is about right, though I might push for a little off (maybe 1k?).

Racks are definitely worth something. 16k sounds about right, but I still say try to get a little bit off.

Barn Door Rear gate ? Looks like a nice truck . The sides look fairly high does your equipment have the reach ? The cab protector would be nice to have but not a deal breaker. Maby you have some leverage on the sale. Find out who makes the body and Im sure you could order one for 1500.00 or less . It may not need welding some just bolt on .
