Flipped Toro Z500 with Kohler 27hp EFI

Turned my mower over on a hill yday. It ran upside down prob 30 sec. Got the mower turned back over no other visible damage and now the engine will not start. Turn the key and the fly wheel will click but not turn over at all. Is there a safety switch of some sort on these mowers? Thanks

There is a safety switch, but if that was the problem the starter wouldn't click.
The starter/gear is prolly jammed in the flywheel. Try rotating the flywheel backwards a bit, that should free it up.

Take the spark plugs out and try to turn it over, may be oil in the combustion chamber.

This would be my guess. Also does it have a tilt switch? if so bypass it.

I know this is silly sounding but make sure the blade isn't engaged. My snappers will click when trying to start them if the blade is on

Either am I.That's why you post model and serial numbers.
Did you check that the PTO switch was off. Seems elementary
but reddens has a good point.

If it had a working tilt switch, it should have killed the engine the moment it went over......
