Pickup with 10 or 12ft bed?

So I'm wondering why manufactures don't come put with a truck with a 10' bed? I know you can get a ram 3500 chassis cab with a 167.5 wheelbase but not everyone needs dual rear tires, it would great to get a 2500 chassis cab or a flatbed or something, wondering if anyone uses something like that?

Weight. The bigger the bed the more people are going to be putting Into it...likely overloading it. That's why you need to jump to dual wheels...for the higher payload capacity.
