Thread about seeding/ planting grass

Hey ya'll what are your thought's about seeding or planting new lawns etc.
I've done seeding for years now, but I think after my last seeding job, I think I made up my mind that I'm not going to seed anymore.
I like to think I'm pretty good at planting grass but every so often I do jobs that for odd reasons just won't grow in right and I end up going back 1 or 2 more times to fix it. My last job I ended up losing my ass on a job then I ended up giving a customer a partial refund to make them happy, no matter what I tried grass would'nt grow in those spots. I think for the hassle with a seeding job overall it's not worth the money. I make better money and stay busier with other landscaping stuff also. I do new lawns for a local escavator also that won't do any seeding anymore because he says the same thing. Basically the only seeding I want to do is seeding areas around a new landscape install because of machine tearup etc.

I'm thinking the same thing. I have run into those same problems. I would much rather do landscape installs unless it is a package deal.

I actually turned down a seeding job today, the first time I've done that but I feel good about it.
