Gun my workers can see (unloaded) one they can't

So I keep an unloaded 911 in a holster beside my driver seat. I hire a lot of "untrustworthy" people. It's only used as an intimidation factor, however I keep a c.c. On me loaded at all times. With the areas I maintain, and people I hire its an absolute necessity. Who else packs heat while working?

You hire "untrustworthy" people and make it known where they can get their hands on an unsecured (or at least easily accessible) .45ACP?

Brilliant.

Seriously, you'd be hard pressed to find someone more pro-2A here, but forget about "intimidating" them. Nobody is afraid of a handgun that's sitting in your truck and you're setting yourself up for a theft.
Here's a thought - replace the "scare gun" with a pellet gun.

Also, there's an existing thread about a gazillion pages long on this very topic. (carry while working)
I'll try and find it for you...

What is a 911, never heard of that one, anything like a 1911?

So you work in areas where you need to carry (thats fine) but what's the point of carrying a unloaded firearm? What are you going to do when you need to use it? Say 'Wait! Don't shoot me, lemme run home and grab my bullets and come right back!'

Did you not read his post?

He CARRIES one that's loaded (useless otherwise) - the unloaded one is left out in view to make his criminal - pardon me... "untrustworthy" employees afraid of him. (or something like that)
