Employee Retention Rate

Would like to hear some of your retention rates when hiring employees. For example; Are 1 out of every 6 employees you hire turn out to be a reliable seasonal employee?

I have 4 employees with (1) stuck around from last year. I had to interview about 23 people to find those 3, who ended up being referrals from contacts. When I was hiring I was not having a high success rate in finding potential employees.

we have 10-12 employees, About 1/2-2/3 of the ones we hire end up making it past the training phase. Then we will lose one or 2 a season of the ones that make it due to truly better opportunities.

For every person we hire, we go through 20+ apps to find 1
