Need some owner feedback...Toro, Scag, Hustler.

I need some feedback from those who own Toro, Scag, and Hustler Zs. My Toro dealer, who was about 5 miles from me, just went out of business...sad face. I love Toro and currently own three Zs. I have two Z450s and one Z500. Over the years I've also owned a Ferris and a John Deere Z. Now the closest dealer to me sells Hustler and the other sells Scag. I also have a Toro dealer about 20 miles away, but it's the opposite direction from where I do all of my work. So...let's have it...Scag? Hustler? Should I bit the bullet and travel to stay with Toro? I also have a Country Clipper dealer two miles from me. It seems like these once factory direct mowers are showing up everywhere. I don't get it, but at least two bigger lawn care companies in the area are using them. Anyone with experience in them?

If you are happy with a certain brand and dealer I'd make the drive. Now that your dealer is gone I'd try out at the new toro dealer and go from there. I do love scags though.

We run Scag's and are very pleased with them, we also run a couple exmarks, both are good mowers. Don't have much experience with any other brands.

Toro offers Kohler EFI engines, unitized hydros, less maintenance.

I went out of my way to try and buy a scag. They wanted more money for less mower IMO. The best engine scag offers is the liquid kawi but they want an extra $3500 over the briggs when both engines cost the same. Scags controls are also on the left, demo them if your not sure.

Toro has 500 off right now on Z Massters

Its all about what works for you. If you have had success with Toro, personally I would make the drive to the other dealer and stick with Toro. If the dealer service isn't very good then I would consider switching to scag. Never used hustlers so I don't know about them but we use scags toros and exmarks and I love toros. Exmarks are wonderful for dry grass. The toro and scags are great in wet grass.
