Man I wish this weather would turn around here. I can't believe how much snow is coving my yard still. anywhere from 6"-10" in spots. Two years ago it was 70 and people were already mulching. I wouldn't advocate the early mulching if that is your only one but I could use the good weather....now! The 10 day forecast is depressing..... I don't want to send out mailers until the weather is on a better warming trend. But I also don't want to miss out on anything either. Frustrating....

Great work and professional flyers.

I'm experiencing the same exact thing on the coast of Maine. Usually there has been some sort of melt down by now and although snow is not unusual this time of year it is generally followed by some 40-50 degree days. For the most part you could plan on starting clean-ups the 1st week in April, not this year. We still have similar snow pack with huge piles here and there. Tonight is -5 below zero!

I had planned to send some mailings and hang some post cards ect around town by now but I have held off as well. I have not even reached out to my customers from last year although I plan to do that on the 1st official day of spring. Very frustrating. I don't want to have others reach out before I do, but with all the snow/cold around I don't want to waste my time and money as well.

After sending out 5000 cards (for the first time ever) on Thursday April 10 I've had a total of 11 estimates due to the mailing. That's about 2 calls per day average. I've scheduled 5 estimates just today. Only closed a couple but that's the closing percentage average. Had a few that "had a guy last year that quit the business" with unreal low prices but that's again just the norm.

I would really like to close on 4 of the 5 estimates that I recieved today. Beautiful neighborhoods an they are really close. Gotta get those selling shoes shined up.

I'm glad I did the postcards and still have door hangers to do!! I'll take as many estimates I can get so he percentages can play in my favor. The more estimates the more jobs that can be secured at where I want them to be.
