walker mower deflector vs. bins

Has any one used either the deflector or pull out bins for walker mowers? What are the good and bads of both? Thanks

I have the full size bins for sale. I use the deflector and like it better than just open back end. The bins to not fit my smaller hopper.

The bins are for the old style hopper not the new one I bought them when i got my walker and they did not fit so I had to sell them but they work good on the old style and I have not tried the deflector yet so can't help you on that one

Chuacro where are you located? The deflectors don't pile up grass on the lawn? Thanks again

Memphis TN, the home of Elvis, Jerry "The King Lawler", king Wille and Prince Mongo. The deflecter helps for even discharge behind the mower. You do not get the S shaped pile of discharge. Works well on weekly cuts. Sometimes it is easier to bag every 2 week cuts. I love my Walker but when I have heavy growth I bring out my Gravely mulcher.

The bins do infact fit the 10 bushel catcher. You simply have to trim a piece off the front edge. New ones come from the factory pre trimmed.

I like the dump bins. I also have a couple rubbermaid bins that I set under the back of the catcher to catch what falls out when I pull the bins out.

Just curious why you want to use the bins instead of filling the catcher?
