Prime time 1 versus revolution blend fescue seed

I got a response to a quote request on seed. My dealer has prime time 1 (bullseye, hemi, turbo seed) and revolution blend (Aztec 2, 3rd mellinium, honkeytonk seed).

Still waiting on the others.

Anyone tried either or any of the seed. Curious how they held up.

Riggle is good with these varietal questions. Haven't seen him post in a few days. Sorry, I work in cool season. NTEP has good info but kind of awkward to search there.

Bullseye hemi turbo has my vote. We will be putting down about 10,000 pounds of it in the next few weeks.

You talkin' turf-type tall fescue? They vary alot. The cultivars with thicker/wider/stiffer blades tend to hold color better during drought but may not blend well into existing KBG lawns. There are hundreds of TTTF cultivars nowadays. Most that resemble KBG tend to go dormant during drought IMO. bump
