I think one of the biggest things with facial hair is proper grooming, trim up the neck line (to the jaw for God's sake!!! lol) keep it combed if it is long enough. And remove all food particles after eating, (your customer doesn't want to be looking at that cheeto you are saving for later hahahaha
That's funny cuss I'm exactly the same way. I shave and people like how long you been doing this. Or I got a son in collage your age. So I have what they call a full man chew that stays clean and trimmed

I have a goatee year round, I grow a full beard throughout hunting season. In my area maybe we have Brett Favre to thank for it but that is very accepted. In fact beards were flat out against the rules at my full time job until he made it cool and put a reason behind it, now we have to buy a $350 face mask but we're allowed to grow whatever we want as long as it's clean and professional. Keep it trimmed, not all duck dynasty looking (however maybe now you could capitalize on that look) and you're good to go.

I get razor burn real bad on my neck if I use a blade, so I use an Oster salon quality trimmer on my face. It leaves me a 5 O'clock shadow after wards, and I do it every 2-3 days. Luckily, it comes in even so it looks like it was intentional and not unkempt or scraggly. When I do have to use a blade, I use the wife's fruity smelling over priced shave cream. It does great on my face and even helps when "manscaping" the giblets. lol

All summer clean shave each day . Face and head.
From November 1 till march 1, I neither shave nor a haircut.
I love it people don't recognize me ... I fly right under the radar.

Wait minute... Full man chew? Was this an autocorrect? Or are you talking about a Fu Manchu? :-)
