The picture in question is an old dump next to the erie canal walk in East Syracuse. You can see the methane vent pipe in the pic. That was early in the season and the grass was dead from the winter. The barbed wire fence had a hole in it, I snuck through and got a few shots. Glad you like it.

I use a Canon t3i and a 17-40L f4 lens for most of my work.

That's a nice lens.

I almost sold my Tokina 16-28mm to get that lens, but sat tight for a while because mine is f/2.8. But mine is really heavy too, and your lens was very appealing for quality and size.

Almost bought a T3i several times this summer as a 3rd camera. Loved the T2i and would enjoy the articulating screen your model has.

Ah, cool. I like it; I'm not a huge fan over overly tone-mapped HDR on the other hand.
