Sod Question

Got a job putting down 24 pallets (12,000sq ft) of sod on a new construction site, no dirt prep that's already finished. My question is how long will this take can it be done in one day. I'll have a skid with forks to move the pallets where they need to be put down. I'll also have 4 guys working for me. Never done a sod job this big before so just trying to plan out how much time I need. Thanks

So you already gave a price and landed the job without knowing how long it might take.

Sod Question

If you know how long it takes to lay a pallet with the number of people you are using then multiple it by 24.

Must be small pallets. Normally here in SW Florida pallets are 400 Sq Feet each. I est. 4 guys with the pallets already spotted, no beds or irrigation systems to work around 6 to 7 hours tops for all Four guys.

Why are you asking the question then if you already done the math.
Way to many factors in laying sod you have prep the borders to lay sod.
Works faster to have 2 laying and 2 packing
Time frame takes my crew lay the sod wont be same time has your crew

Small areas takes more time vs open areas where there is less cutting

Good luck on the job

Most people ask question about things they don't know about or before they bid a job to double check there figures

You already have the job and you already did the math
What you going do if your math was wrong. Since Joe Blow said on Lawn Site should take 40 man hrs to do the job your math was 20 hrs
You going change you price before you start the job.

You must knew something if you already have the job
Or did you price it to cheap from comment in red

Are your pallets sell by sf or sq yards Here they sell it by the sq yard

Since you already have the job what is your price that you are laying it for
