LOL

There's a crapload of big outfits around here that send out guys in pickups with two push mowers in the bed. If there wasn't any money in it, they wouldn't be doing it.

Nice trucks.
LOL...well said sir! Another hack solo operator here running mainly my exmark 30. I aint doing that many a week, but definitely have enough to keep me busy as a part timer

I think it's a great idea no matter the size of the company.

I was "push mowing" some lawns today.
My mower is self propelled, is that still "push mowing"?
Why is the op calling it "push mowing"?

I call it that too. It would sound dorky saying "I self propelled my lawns today".

Push mower = generic term for standard 21" mower - push, or self propel

Walk behind = wide area mower 36" and above (anyone not in the industry thinks "push mower" when they hear "walk behind")

It's all so confusing.

Walk Behind (WB) is a wide area mower 32" and above.

Because image is everything. Ya didn't know that? To be a professional you have to have the equipment...knowledge, experience and know how takes a back burner to what equipment you're running.

100 accounts seems to be the minimum, doesn't matter if 90 of those accounts are rut filled weed infested lawns, as long as you have 2 guys mowing with 100 inch zero turns and 8 guys trimming you're a hack....

and if you're solo you have to mow 30 lawns in one day and still have time for a movie before you go see another movie and dinner.

and on top of it, you're doing no less than $60 for a lawn....$59.00 if it's your gandma.
