who is paying for taking labor day off?

I know I am. Its 10pm and I'm still mowing. I am debating to stay up all night or not. Any of you in the same boat?

I worked. No reason not to. My schedule is unchanged and stress-free this week.

I took it off but I didn't schedule any mowing on Mondays this year. We do trimming and mulching on Mondays and install work on Friday and Saturdays. This way its easy to take a 4 day weekend if needed.

For me, I limit my number of customers to 30. Y'all probably do 30 a day. But if push comes to shove, I can mow all my customers in 3-days easily, and have mowed them all in 2-days when I'm doing a project like a paver driveway, and I need to spend 4-5 days doing it. BUT... I'm a one man show. Well, me and my Dingo 320D.

I never schedule anything for monday from june-until a week after labor day. Then I go crazy and fill up my week. tuesday is an open day in the summer and fall. spring time I have to cut a decent amount of my lawns twice in one week to keep up with growth otherwise they are hell if try and do them once per week. so 3 day weekends are a regular thing. And I can do my 24 accounts in 2 days and that's 100% solo. if I have a busy week, or weekend for that matter. I used to work all the holidays, but now I'm finding I want to take scheduled days off like everyone else with a normal career/job so I do.

Ya if I do 60 perperties a week, its a slow week and I'm back to being solo. No one wants their lawn done twice a week here so I have to deal with 4-6 inches of growth a week this summer. I am so glad I have a diesel that take that much off almost at full speed.
