Pgr on wax myrtle hedge row

I have a commercial site with 2 wax myrtle hedges about 5-6 ft wide and 100 ft long. In the contract we prune everything in the fall and spring. The owner has multiple sites and got a huge bulk mulch order and got the company to prune the hedges back in order to out down the mulch ( something about a deadline to move the mulch...store manager called me about pruning and I said I would get to it, well the mulch company was there within 24 hrs to prune.)

Anyway, since they have been pruned back for the year would it save me any future labor if I was to spray the hedges with a pgr? I have do e it with turf and had great results.

Was thinking of trying atrimmec or embark? Have some t-nex(generic primo) but shrubs are not listed.

I wouldn't expect them to grow much more this year anyway. Wait until spring.
